Dang! I have not felt this way about a FLORAL in a while, guys. Or a wedge.Fellow blogger Cathy emailed me the link to the Etsy store Woland and Moon and if you ask my friend EB, a pinata with whom I was skyping with at the time, he will tell you that I did indeed gasp when I opened the link.
Total Harajuku potential, super TALL. And prints like the plastic tablecloths your aunt in Miami always uses. And prints like those on tshirts of my sister's friends when they were in about 7th grade and also sporting butterfly hairclips and bandanas. And handmade, which is even more special (though frankly I would never give these away if I had the talent to make them.)
They sort of dance around that line between good and weird and feel slightly awkward, in a good way. I love it when one part of an outfit sets the whole thing a bit off...
I can't afford them so someone else buy them so I'm not tempted.

Not really my thing but in terms of appreciation of the work that goes into them all I can think is WOW! Also the first boots are just pretty amazing.

WOWZERS. See, here's an example of fashion that I would never wear, but I can appreciate as an art. These are wonderful. I hope I see some blogger out there (who is more stylish...and more rich than me) rocking these.
Oh man, these are wicked! So not my thing, but I think you would look rad in that first pair of purple/floral shoes.
I like the purple ones. Will totally rock the floral pattern boots with the purple lace shoe string and like the grass green floral print heel boots.

Awww man, they're spectacular and magical! The first boots at the top are delicious! What a refreshing alternative to all the studs and cages you see on everyone's feet these days. Etsy's the greatest, I wish the website had some underground warehouse with all the special stuff people sell on there and I could just spend all night strolling through it like it's the fleamarket.

Wow, I actually developed a strong affection to last pair in nanoseconds. Price is bit steep for me too, otherwise there would have already been that faint squeek from PayPal happening.
But the more I look at them the more I appreciate the awkward clumpiness of almost all of them, they would provide great edge to styling.

I love the bottom right pair, for some reason Marc Jacobs came into my head when I saw them....? I could see them being worn with A Marc by Marc all in one, and the Marc by Marc bow around the head! I'm not so keen on some of the others for myself but I think you could rock them. They remind me of some Lulu Guinness ones I once saw in TK Maxx. Whoever made these is very talented. lets hope you have a fan who wants to treat you to a pair for Christmas.

the florals on the bottom right are the prettiest, but if you ask me they are all quite ghastly!
I like the blue based, floral one at the bottom, and the purple laced shiny beige one on top. Styled properly, some of these could loook major but as interestingly nostalgic the prints are, the designs sometimes made it look a little tacky. But ya know, it's all in the stylin I guess.
you know something? I kind of miss wearing butterfly hair clips with little wings on springs that fluttered, and bandanas.
Amazing! I could fight for first shoes, because "Ugly is new pretty".
