ha i did the same thing and went screengrabbing mental,! Including the moment where the catwalk stretches to infinity through the video screen. Such showmanship, even if I wasn't convinced on some of the dress proportions. However, those are the shoes of the season, no question

i'm not usually a shoe fanatic but those are stunning shoes.
I'm so obsessed with McQueen's tact for biology and environmentalism and how he manipulates it. (i.e. Not like the tacky "Go Greenzz!11!" schtick but through a really thought provoking and aesthetically stimulating show.)
And then the prints... this collection basically made me tear my eyes out from its obscene beauty. I'm still freaking possessed by his last collection and watch it over and over on my iPod. T___T Oh McQueen you are too good for me sometimes.

At first all I can see is the hair and shoes. They detract from the focus on the clothes. Only after going over them again, did I actually see the structured shoulders etc.

Oh wow! Another blogger I follow just posted something on McQueen last night. Those shoes are crazy but very creative! I use to always wonder if I'd see that sort of shape as a heel... :3
This is what inspires me. I started fading out of Fashion because I felt whatever I thought would be "neat" or "cool" would scare people away and I'd be sent to a costume shop (Which I don't mind because costumes are amazing as well--and I don't mean cheap Halloween costumes!:O)
In anycase, McQueen most certainly took the cake with those shoes. They're something a Queen of an alien race could be seen wearing, but at the same time...it goes perfect with runway because we need to see new things and anything goes on the catwalk. ;)

The shoes overshadow the dress. We are looking more at the shoes. Based on what I see on how they opened the fashion show, and when the models started coming out, I know everybody sitting there was stunned.

AHH OMG I loved this show.
The colors and prints were so amazing, as was the construction. There were only like a few looks that I wasn't really into, but overall AMAZING. And those shoes, WOW. Insanity.
