Sorry guys. Times a billion. That was pretty hectic, non? Eventually we all ended up chatting on Meebo, and I couldn't figure out how to embed it on to the blog...bad planning on my part. Maybe Belle and I will just video chat by ourselves and I'll tape it with my Canon or something. Thanks for hanging in there. Allow these epic Nick Knight shots to ease your anger:

Proof you don't need the setting of an enchanted forest or abandoned haunted house for an editorial to be amazing. A plain background and jumping models has never been done so well (yes, I am talking about YOU, Anna Wintour. You and US Vogue.)

  1. Anna Wintour should seriously listen. Though these models don't really look human because of the angles/posing/clothes dwarfing them (in some, not all pics.)

  17. I'm a little sad 'cause the chat was supposed to be scheduled 3 am my time, and I was watching you guys try to figure the tokbox thing out. Then when I heard you were doing a group chat instead, I made an AIM account and downloaded AIM messenger for Mac (but it failed) so somebody suggested that I use iChat, and it worked, but I waited until I got an invite. I didn't though :( I also tried meebo and couldn't get in. Eventually I fell asleep at 5 about 5:00 am. :( I really wanted to ask some questions and read both of your answers :( Ahwell. Hope it was all good for you guys!

  24. wow i like all the editorials.. erm what do u mean here? i dont really get it.. coz i'm mistaken between sarcasm and the real thing. The jumping models really does make the editorial looks more amazing :D with plain background, if the outfit and the energy meets the aim of the photoshoot, the photos should come out well then :) :)

  25. I've always love such photoshoots, it attracts your attention and though you wouldn't want (but wish) to wear these out in public, you can always appreciate them from magazines and stuff. These keeps me away from the busy schedule of school and stuff. Love it. (:

  26. Haha that chat was majorly confusing. But amusing.

This shoot is pretty epic. But I still would have preferred it outside.

    ReplyDelete
  27. those clothes and the shoot in general is pretty crazy. love it

    ReplyDelete
  28. I don't get it...why would anyone ever want to wear the clothes in those pictures?? They just look ugly and impractical.

    ReplyDelete
  29. It's not just clothing, it's inspiration. It's art.

  30. Lovely editorial.

  36. I posted the some these pictures recently too!

I would want to be married in the white origami dress

  37. The chat was pretty confusing but I think we will record a video conference.

harleen atica-I was saying that finally jumping models and a plain backdrop is done right, since US Vogue does it quite a lot but it never looks good.

Anna-Not everyone shares the same preference as you do, and the point of avant garde is that it's more for inspiration than actually wearing. Though if I owned one of these babies I'd totallyyyyy want to show it off...

belle-Mmm, her pedo glasses seem to be doing no good.

  38. Oh wow those wolford tights are awesome! and so is that models hair!

I was inspired to look at avant garde hair after looking at these photographs (which I LOVE) and this came up.

Needless to say. The hair hats were incomprehensibly cool.
