the executive judicial are added with the other senators so it's 9 but in reality it's 6

Sometimes you wonder if teachers can hear themselves speaking.
Knitwear is often associated with ugly Christmas sweaters or granny clothes, and is usually worn with a light and simple color palette. I quite like all of those things, but I think neon colors mixed with warm, soft knitwear is pretty hard to pull off. I am in serious love with the styling in these Per Zennstrom photos though. Somehow the neon, multicolored sleeves and snuggly Sandra Backlund knitted contraptions seem to fit together perfectly. Like junk food and bad tv.

It bogglez da mind.

Getting new ideas on wearing my Yokoo scarf...

I love the pictures.

Reading your blog inspired me to start writing one of my own. Unfortunately, I'm not as good at writing posts as you and it's just getting up in the air. Hopefully soon it will get better.

I also loved your FAQ!

Thanks for writing such an entertaining and fun blog.

The Wizard of Oz lol - I can just imagine. there is actually a theory - kinda far fetched to me - that the Wizard of Oz is a parable about populism - wonder how your teacher could work that into a description of the political system:). There are lots of interesting recordings of W of O - including songs from the 1902 Broadway Oz musical.

And since you ae an Ethel Merman fan, I wondered if you had ever heard her disco version of " There's No Business Like Show Business" - seriously:)

I love these! I really need to expand my knitting capabilities - I don't push myself beyond making scarves very often.

I'm on exchange in Tokyo right now and I have a blog about it. Anyway, there is a picture I posted today of some mannequins in Harajuku - the style looks like something you would like so I thought I would let you know : )

I'm 22 and i'm a spanking brand new teacher :( and i can honestly say that yes we do hear ourselves speak, and yes sometimes we say the stupidest things imaginable because alas, we are only human.

What annoys me most is my voice. It goes up about an octave to a shrill whining pitch that i have never experianced in my life.

Anyway give us a break, children are HORRIBLE.

I love how the styling of these photos, specially the ones mixed with neon colors.
I have a sort of wooly huge sweater, 'similar' to these, and I often try to match them up with bright colored stockings, shoes or whatever I find that has color, just so I don't feel like walking sheep.

I like that last picture, wool reminds me of nature and the outdoors and country walks...maybe it comes from growing up in the countryside and being forced to wear enormous knitwear by your mum.

My first thrift-store purchases (from 5th grade) were knit sweaters, and I treasured a bright blue nubby one that I have since lost (!!!) but I have another v-neck one in EXACTLY the same color and texture so I don't mind that much.

All of these are amazing, and I agree, knitwear is seriously underappreciated. And I agree with the teacher comment-sometimes I really do wonder...

I love the second one...they are all pretty cool though. After seeing this I might try mixing knits with each other & some neon colors...
